Got a great response from Ian Holm last week! I'd had a few letters that he never responded to over the past couple of years, so I'm really glad that he got back to me now. I sent him a custom-made autograph card for "The Hobbit," but unfortunately he signed the back and not the front where the picture was. The good news is that the back is completely blank and can be printed on like photo paper, so it's essentially a blank slate. I'm currently trying to figure out the best way to print it onto a copy of the card so it looks like he signed the front... anyways, I'm really grateful that he got back to me! It was so great seeing him as Bilbo again in "The Hobbit" last year.
