Van Dyke has had a secretary for a long time. There was a guide to ttm collecting published around 1995 of 1996 and the author got the same secretarial signature even back then. Long time employees aren't unheard of in any profession. The secretary does a fair enough job and probably enjoys working with a celebrity and gets paid well.

I think the biggest stars who have given the most responses, and are actually authentic, are Bob Newhart and Ed Asner. As WWF's Jim Ross said of a kid taking a Psycho Sid photo, "save your camera, young man, he's not worth the film." Save your stamps guys, DVD fakes aren't worth the 46 cents. Write a letter to Bob or Ed. You won't be disappointed now and won't find out 20 years later they are fake.

We honestly have no proof if it's real or fake. The only way we can truly know if an item is legit if we saw the celeb sign it in front of us.

I have seen PSA/DNA examples that look like his TTM and yours as well.

The secretarial signatures have the three parts of his signature more spread out with gaps between the words.
His authentic signatures have the three parts of his signature very close together, almost looking like they are joined.

We really don't know if theses are authentic or not. No one has tried to send it to PSA/DNA yet even though i have seen some PSA/DNA that do look like his TTM but we really don't know for sure unless we saw him sign it in person.

Nice to see some of you are finally accepting the truth.

I know people are saying it's a sec, just in case I would still keep it. You're right it's a cool photo.

Thank you all. Yes, cjhanson, I'm aware that it is likely secretarial; I research feedback on fanmail.biz for every celebrity I mail. I thought there was enough doubt whether his TTM autograph was real or secretarial that I gave it a try. If nothing else, it's a cute photo, I'll keep it.

Just ignore the posts from CJhanson. he does this to everyone.
It's true he did it on my posts too.
