This reply marks the first time that a celebrity has been contacted through another celebrity. It is known as a 'Via Addressee' (VA) success. To contact Pippa, I figured it would be best to contact Brian Ormond, who happily passed on a letter to her along with a photo of her for signing. This idea came to me when I was watching her and Ormond host the Big Money Game on RTÉ 1 on August 17. As soon as I saw her interview a contestant I soon said to myself "EUREKA!"

The chance to write to her via Ormond and the Big Money Game was useful to me because her agent's website does not have a postal address issued on it.

This success is also known as a "Via Subject" success. While writing the letter, I figured it would be safe to address it to Ormond. The result - a 'pioneering' success for an ambitious collector.

Pippa O' Connor is a highly popular Irish model and TV star. She is married to top TV star Brian Ormond and they have one child. O'Connor and Ormond showed their competitive side when they both appeared together on the sport-based reality TV show Celebrity Bainesteoir,
('bainesteoir' is Irish forManager), where they were both managing different football teams. They were also the subject of the reality documentary, "Brian And Pippa Get Married". Although some say her TV career began with Celebrity Bainesteoir, it did not properly take off until 17 August 2013, when she replaced Sinead Kennedy as the co-host of the Big Money Game for one week.

Sent 1 LOR, SASE and two photos to Ms. O'Connor (via Brian Ormond.) to the Big Money Game on 20/08/2013, three days after I saw her hosting the show. On 4 September, I received my photos signed and dedicated.
