I personally am sorry that all this was going on. I had no knowledge of it but was genuine in my request for her to autograph my photos. I sent two photos because she was in both movies depicted. I mailed them on Oct 26th and got them backed signed on Nov 20th. Included was a card that Rosemary mentioned. Rosemary was generous enough to present the photos for her aunt to sign, and Ms. Laemmle was gracious enough to sign them. They are very good people!

it's people like this tool who is ruining this hobby. now we know this tool is a bitter liar, trying to get a stack of photos signed. 1 signed photo or card is enough, you get greedy and the celeb/athlete will start charging

Hate to see people spamming Ms. Laemmle. She's always been so good to her fans. Shame.

The person, warlordforever04, got it wrong. I sent warlordforever04 a letter saying that it is not possible for Carla to autograph for free anymore, since they sent many photos for her to autograph. (She did autograph 2 of their photos, and the rest we returned.) I would not do this for a single request. If people are going to sell them, then Carla should get some of the money! She is 103 years old, and each signature is perfect, and that takes effort on her part. Also they must send a SASE. I only tell people who are obviously going to sell them, who send multiples for a signature without personalization, that she cannot sign them for free. Warlordforever04 sent multiples of photos/cards for her to sign. I now save all of the request letters and envelopes and know who is sending more than one request using different envelopes. Those people are giving the true fans a bad name, and I do feel sorry for that. I send out a card for our Official Laemmle site, www.Laemmle.us with each signed photo or card. Pictures start at [b]$15[/b], NOT $75! The $75 photos are MY effort to raise money for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Carla. She certainly deserves one, and they cost $30,000.00. I stated in the letter that I am her niece, not her daughter, and I help her with the fanmail. Please support Carla in this by publicizing her site, and not her home address. (For someone of her age, it is dangerous for you to have letters posted with her home address. Previously she has been robbed, and I want to minimize that risk.) If people write to her on the website asking for 1 autograph, I will email them an address where they can send a SASE to get 1 photo or card signed. That is her limit for free. And, Carla knows nothing of the possibility of getting a star. She simply autographed the photos that I had made up of her to raise the money. And all of the money will go to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce which administers the Walk of Fame. I print out all of the email for her. Please help me , and keep her safe, happy and healthy.
