Thanks for the info. While reading your post one thing came to my mind. Year ago I'there was a loveryan's success from her via US agency posted on fanmail.biz (here the photo: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/64/katebeckinsale.jpg/ ). And the signature looks pretty much the same. I know she lives in USA now so it gives me hope that your second suggestion may be true. :D

I'd like to share with you my happiness today. I've just recived one of my most wanted and best successes ever - from Kate Beckinsale. :D I'm a huuuuuuuge fan of her ;) I loved her in Van Helsing - it's one of my favourite movies ever, too :D The signature on the photos is definitely not a preprint , it's hand signed with a classic black marker. I do hope it's authentic but I'm not 100% sure I'd be very grateful for any comment on authenticity.
