Hello -
Angelica Shirley Carpenter wrote a wonderful book about Matilda Joslyn Gage who was one of the first suffragettes. What she did and why she was written out of the women's movement history is told in the book. She is also the woman who told her son in law L Frank Baum to put those stories he tells the kids into a book. That book became The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
