James Earl Jones is a GREAT signer...I certainly wouldn't begrudge him taking a few months to not sign autographs. Just keep your stuff handy and resend when he requested. Not a big deal.

Sorry for your failure

Just resend in April.... It's not like he's permanently done signing. They even said when he'll be signing again. Sure it's disappointing, but I wouldn't necessarily call it a "failure"...

I received the same note this morning. My photo was returned but not my letter. My note had an addition to it. Handwritten on the bottom said, "Here is a photo that he previously signed" So, my envelope had an autographed photo supplied.
I will probably send my photo back next year. All you can do is keep trying.
