Great Success! I was hoping to send off to her soon in hope that they may have book plates left. It is a real shame that they end up on ebay instead of collectors who truly appreciate them. I sent off to George a few months back with a picture and got it back with a pre-print. Hopefully both of them have book plates left. {up}

For my letters, I told them both a bit about myself and just thanked them writing their books and how much I enjoyed them. {up} I don't think they personally read the letters, but have management staff send out the bookplates.

Fantastic!! :D This was quite a lovely surprise!! Finally got my signed bookplate from Former First Lady Laura Bush today!!! :D Had sort of given up on ever seeing this, as I thought she’d run out of bookplates and I’d sent mine way back in December of 2010! :lol:

I sent a SASE as requested, but she sent me it in an official ‘Office of George W. Bush’ Envelope. {up} Also included was a note with a pre-print signature thanking me for writing and telling me to enjoy her book!! Happy to have now gotten both George and Laura’s Bookplates! :D
