Malia M. Cohen served as Member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisor from the District 10th from 2011-2019 and as current Member of the California Board of Equalization from the 2nd District since January 2019. In January 2019 she became the first African American woman to become Member of the California Board of Equalization from the 2nd District. On 10/30/2019 I mailed a letter explaining how I find Honorable Cohen's work to be very inspiring to me at:
