I've got this from several athletes in different sports, usually the headlining athletes, like Malkin, Crosby, Rob Gronkowski, Andrew Luck, etc. I think the worst offending team of them all is the Texas Rangers. Everything I've sent them comes back unsigned.

Sent a LOR, SASE, and a trading card to Pittsburgh Penguins star Evgeni Malkin on Nov. 27th 2017. Got my card back (unsigned) on Jan. 25th 2018, but it came with a photo card and a letter explaining that he didn't sign items through the mail. I used the address on the Penguins website (which is the same as in the fanmail.biz database except the arena name has changed):
