I havent checked the handwriting or anything, but I agree with your logic that if it takes a year or more that it probably is real. Secretaries/PA's wouldnt take so long, especially as directors probably dont get overwhelmed with fanmail like actors do. Nice success :)

I've been on a hiatus from this collecting hobby, I've tried to concentrate on matters that really matter, so I haven't been that active recently. Plus I haven't send any requests for a long time!

But today I got a nice surprise from none other than the legendary director: Mr. Sam Raimi!

About a year and a half ago I sent a letter, SASE and a picture to be signed to Mr. Raimi's production company Ghost House Pictures.
Today I received my picture signed (kinda) with an inscription.

I believe that this is genuine! Why should his secretary sign for him and it would take almost two years? Plus, I was a bit sceptical at first, but his signature ain't that complex. Usually it is just "Sm R", but I checked from Mike The Fanboy -website and a signature from Sam from a signing isn't that far away from mine.

What do you guys think? :D
