Sylvia Nasar (Uzbek: ?????? ?????; born 17 August 1947) is a German-born American journalist, best known for her biography of John Forbes Nash, Jr., A Beautiful Mind. In 1998, Nasar published A Beautiful Mind, a biography of Nobel Prize-winning economist and mathematician John Forbes Nash, Jr.. The book describes many aspects of Nash's life, examines his personality and motivations, and deals with the stresses placed on his personal and professional relationships by severe mental illness. The book won the 1998 National Book Critics Circle Award for biography. Was made into a film by Ron Howard in 2001 starring Russell Crowe.. In 2002, the film was awarded four Oscars during the 74th Academy Awards, for Best Adapted Screenplay (Akiva Goldsman), Best Picture (Brian Grazer and Ron Howard), Best Director (Ron Howard) and Best Supporting Actress (Jennifer Connelly).

Sent her the book A BEAUTIFUL MIND on 15 Jan and got it back signed on 23 Mar.
