Now that Shaq is retired, I am sure he has a lot of time on his hands.
He seems the type to want to be busy.
When he was a player he never did signatures through the mail.
Here is a signed card from him that I got by using the same address:

I'm with you after failing IP we sent a card and it came back signed and looks authentic just like these the original poster received. But everyone says its his dads signature but I dont believe it
It is 110% NOT his dad signing. His Dad, the one that he considers his Dad, passed away a few years back. He has NO relations with his biological father. So that would be a very true GHOST-signer if it was his dad. There are rumors that another family member, or a assistant is signing now.
I'm not sure if the returns are real or not. Some look close for sure, others not so much. I am also a believer a person sitting down signing fan mail in a relaxed setting may sign a little differently then if you got that same person out in the street or at a venue with a large crowd of people bothering him for pics and graphs.
I have always held off from sending him anything as for years the popular opinion is they are not signed by Shaq. I have a few items signed by him from his rookie days with Orlando, and happy with those in my collection.
