Edward "Ed" Giacomin (born June 6, 1939 in Sudbury, Ontario) is a retired professional ice hockey goaltender who played for the New York Rangers and Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League, as well as for the Providence Reds of the American Hockey League. Played from 1959 - 1978. Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1987.
Sent him 2 B/W photos on 30 Mar and got them back signed and inscribed on 13 APR. He also sent a colored card of him protecting the net in a Rangers' uniform. It is maybe 3 3/4 X 7 1/8, and is signed and has the logo of the Hockey Hall Of Fame on it.. He sent a little note that my letter brought back memories. thank you, Ed ...
