Dame Judi is actually a very clever and generous woman. She seems to be more than happy to send a signed pic to anyone who emails her agent, which is unusual as most agents won't accept email requests. I think her reason for doing this is two-fold.
1. She is a really nice woman who genuinely cares about her fans
2. Lots of celebs won't sign anything for fear that their items will be snapped up by people just wanting to sell them on ebay for silly money. Essentially Dame Judi is saturating the market with her pics, meaning so many are going out the price is driven down for those muppets that only ask for signed pics for £$ gain. It's essentially a win-win for her and us. Brilliant!
