Congratulations, Nice photo too.
I've received two responses from Sir David over the years, the first as a request with a photograph took about 9 days over Christmas time and the second, wasn't a request at all, simply a letter of thanks for his programmes over the years and was sent on the back of the "Natural History Museum: Alive" documentary being screened. I didn't expect anything, then 4-5 days later I received a hand written (and signed) letter thanking me for getting in touch with him.
He truly is a great and prompt signer and in my opinion the greatest Natural History presenter I'm ever likely to see in my lifetime. In a world where the term "Legend" is used so frequently, he really is worthy of the title.
