As a result of receiving this reply, I have successfully completed a special fanmail project marking the 25th anniversary of Fair City.

Although the 25th anniversary of the show won't be marked until September 18, 1989, planning for the show goes back to the end of 1988. (My theory is that Fair City was created in response to Dublin's Millenium Celebrations at that time.)

I will post a list of the 25 stars/characters I wrote to in no time at all.

Liam Heffernan is an Irish soap actor. He is best known for his role as local troublemaker, Blackie Connors in the popular Irish soap, Glenroe. He currently appears as Luke Dillon, the wicked brother of Tommy Dillon in 'Fair City'.

Sent 1 LOR SASE and photo to Mr. Heffernan on 22/05/2013. On 29/05/2013, after a week long wait, I received my photo signed.
