I believe they take breaks in filming. Jennifer Morrison left every 4 days to visit her boyfriend while he was on Broadway. Josh Dallas posted the fanmail address on his personal Twitter, so I doubt he would invite fan mail like that if he were only going to send out PPs or whatever it's called when someone else signs for you. I'm an optimist :)
