Tom Jordan is a veteran Irish actor best known for his role as pensioner Charlie Kelly in the Irish soap opera Fair City.
In addition to that role, he has also starred in numerous film and TV roles and his career had seen him work in Ireland, the US and the UK, where he made his first major TV appearance. Amongst his guest roles included Heartbeat, Casualty, Remington Steele (in an episode filmed in Ireland.) and the acclaimed RTÉ prison drama 'Inside'. He also appeared as a reporter in an episode of the CBS drama series 'Knots Landing' (in a later episode of the third season 'China Dolls'). In 1975, he appeared in a TV advert for Ireland's Health Education Bureau.
Sent 1 photo LOR, Xmas card and SASE to Mr. Jordan on 21/12/2012. On 13/02/2013, I received my photo signed, plus a letter with it. And I have to feel sorry for Mr. Jordan, because he can't type well. (I noticed around three print errors in his letter.)
