But much to my great joy, when I opened the book to her photo, there was her signed message:
BEST ALWAYS
LAUREN BACALL
I was particularly happy that she signed on the opposing page, rather than across her image.
There are only a few celebrities in this book that are still living:
young Drew Barrymore with her cat from CAT'S EYE
Signourney Weaver with the cat from ALIEN
Hayley Mills with the cat from THAT DARN CAT
Ann-Margret with a kitten from KITTEN WITH A WHIP
Joan Collins with a kitten from ISLAND IN THE SUN
It is my hope that each of them will sign and return this book so that I can auction it for an animal charity.
Any recommendation for whom I should try next?
For some reason the photos disappeared, but I was able to restore them here.
