Like all Disney fans, I know him best as the original child voice actor for the world's beloved little deer in Walt Disney's heartwarming film,
Bambi. It is amazing to know that he was also a U.S. Marine Corps drill instructor. I even wrote a poem on Bambi called
A Fawn's Season. I sent a copy of it for Donnie to read and I believed he loved it. The photo I sent for him to sign is of that cute scene from
Bambi when Bambi and Flower the skunk touch nose to nose together. He signed and inscribed it to me. HALLEJULAH!
