You don't get tickets and its usually harder to get into the after-party than the actual premiere. Since its at a seperate venue. You have to be invited or know someone tied to the production or studio.

I have been to 5 premieres and 4 after-parties. "Talladega Nights", "The Waitress", "MacGruber", "Sorcerer's Apprentice"(only the premiere) and most recently "I Don't Know How She Does It". The Talladega Nights one was the biggest. It was insane they transformed a parking lot into a giant party. With giant big screens, pool tables, video games and bars. It's surreal. You look around and see celebs. At Talladega I went to the bar for a drink and looked to my left and Bruce Willis was ordering a drink.

Wow! I wish I could've gotten tickets! I live close to LA and I've been to movie premieres at the El Capitan as a fan. That is how I got Amy Adams at the premiere of the Muppets! The only thing is that the Hunger Games premiere is on a Monday and I have school.

I know they let us in at 5pm and the movie starts at 7:30pm. I would say go down and see if you can watch. But, I heard that they are letting people start camping out Sunday morning. I am sure Jennifer will be one of the hardest to get near. But, I can see what I can do. Just hoping we can get into the after-party. That is where you can chat with the celebs. I have been to a few different premieres and the after-party is where you can really meet the cast.

I was at the mall today and Hot Topic was advertising that part of the Hunger Games cast were gonna be there next week signing autographs. I immediately got a wristband and will now be meeting Josh Hutcherson, Isabelle Fuhrman and Jacqueline Emerson!!!! Here are more dates and stuff if you are interested. I googled it, and from what I've seen each venue is distributing autograph wristbands in a different way (ie. get a wristband with purchase, be one of the first 100 on the day of the event, enter a sweepstakes) so ask around to see how your mall is doing it.
