Wade Boggs - long wait for a success - November 17th, 2011 Back on January 5, 2011, I sent Wade Boggs a card, letter and SASE. He was one of the greatest hitters in his generation and is actually the cousin of my father-in-law. I had already given up getting the card signed, when it came in the mail today (11/17/11).
