Peyton Manning disappointing FAILURE - January 11th, 2014

I sent a LOR, SASE, 8x10 photo.
Really disappointed in this one... I sent a heart-felt letter and was really feeling good about this one. Got my package back today only to open it to find a note saying Peyton isn't accepting autograph requests at this time. Not only did they waste my postage by taking the time to put it in the envelope I provided, but they also didn't return the photo. Why not just hold all of his requests until he starts signing again? I know some people walk away with PPs (not that I like those anyway) but at least they get something back... Really just disappointed and upset about this one. Discouraged.

Peyton Manning - December 29th, 2013
Just got this back from his foundation. Took about 2 weeks. Its smaller than a football card and Im pretty sure its a PP but opinions are welcome.

Peyton Manning Success (Denver Broncos) - December 6th, 2013
Ive seen all of the recent sucesses from Peyton Manning so I figured Id give him a shot. I was honestly kind of surprised when I got this back because I know he can be pretty hit or miss and I had a failure from him last year. It looks real to me...it looks very similar to other successes Ive seen from him. It is definitely not an autopen...the ink trails off on the "M" and the "g", theres a slight smuge on the "M" and the ink is pooled a little on the "B" in Broncos indentation. I know this isnt really the greatest picture but this is a hard card to take a picture of since its so reflective.

Peyton Manning success! - December 5th, 2013
I was worried that this one wasn't gonna happen so I was very very pleased to get a phone call from my dad telling me what he had gotten in the mail. See, I know NOTHING about football, but my dad is the biggest Denver broncos fan ever. Dads been going thru some tough times lately and I wanted to do something really cool for him; something special to cheer him up. Dad is a pretty stoic down to earth kinda guy but he gets all weak in the knees when it comes to Peyton manning and John elway. I wrote to mr.manning care of the Broncos on the 15th of November and put dads address on the sase. On November 30th dad received two cards signed and inscribed to him! I know that mr manning is one of the biggest names in football and I think it's really really cool that he signs so much! Now I need to find Elway for dad and I'm good lol! Any ideas guys? |
