Livan Hernandez (Very Likely Ghost Signed) - September 8th, 2011
On 8-29-11, I sent a LOR, SASE, and baseball card to Livan Hernandez at : Livan Hernandez 2655 LeJeune Road 5th floor Coral Gables,FL 33134 I wrote to him because I had just seen a success at this address on this site. I got my card back autographed today (9-7-11) with the inscription "97 WS MVP." I also got my LOR with "Gracias," and the same inscription that was on the card on my letter. I really have my doubts that Livan was the one that actually signed this seeing as how he and his Washington Nationals teammates were playing on the road vs. the Mets on the day the letter was postmarked (9-3-11). Additionally, the postmark is out of Miami, FL. Even if Livan was getting his mail forwarded, it certainly wouldn't have been to New York, and on top of that, why would the postmark be out of Miami if he was forwarding his mail? You know what they say, if it looks like a rat, and it smells like a rat....by God, it's a rat. I'm calling B.S. on this one.
