Game of Thrones - George R.R. Martin (Author) - October 28th, 2014
This is a wonderful bonus for my collection.
I met George at Edinburgh Book Festival (see viewtopic.php?f=128&t=333326) where he kindly signed two books for my wife and myself. That day I had a photo with me but did not have the courage to ask if he would sign it as well as he had said no memorabilia and I did not know if he would count this as such.
Anyway, I was made aware of a contact email on his website and wrote explaining the above and asking if it would be possible to send my photo to him for signature.
His PA responded within half an hour of sending that email and explained that they were not accepting anything just now for signing but she would be happy to send me a photo if I gave her an address.
We corresponded on 22nd October 2014 and this wonderful photo arrived on 28th October 2014. Thank you so much to George and his PA.

Emailed GRRM via his site and got a reply from his PA Patricia asking for an SAE sent to:

I did that with $2.00 US to cover postage (the amount she suggested back to the UK) around 2nd October. Today I got home to find not only a signed bookplate (which Id requested) but also a signed pic from GRRM. Thrilled with the response.
