How to send your fan mail and autograph requests to Eric Idle?:

If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading! If you live in UK send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo. You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes. Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response. If you do not live in UK, add several* International Reply Coupons. 4/08/2008 - I sent, on March 5, 2008, an SAE, IRC, letter, and 4x6 index card to Eric Idle at the following address: c/o William Morris Agency - NY 1325 Avenue of the Americas New York, NY 10019 I received, on April 4, 2008, an RTS informing me that Eric Idle is no longer at William Morris Agency (WMA). I made a call to confirm this, and it is indeed true. I should have figured this as my last letter was sent to WMA in the U.K., forwarded to WMA in California, and still returned to me without having even been opened. I would take this as a pretty clear sign that any/all mail sent to Mr. Idle care of WMA will be returned without question.

3/04/2008 - I sent a letter to Eric Idle on February 13, 2008 at the address in the database: (c/o William Morris Agency, 52/53 Poland Street, London W1F 7LX, United Kingdom). I received (on March 4, 2008) my SAE, complete with IRC, 5x7 Index Card, and letter I'd sent... and no autographed photo. They basically just sent my SAE back to me with everything I'd sent inside. This was postmarked from the US, Zip Code 90212 (which is the same Zip Code as William Morris Agency in Beverly Hills, CA). I have tried writing the secondary address now, which is New York - home to his broadway hit SPAMALOT. I've got my fingers crossed! Continue >>
