If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading! If you live in send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo. You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes. Send your letter and wait. 2/22/2010 - I sent a SASE with letter to this great author with some index cards. He sent back all signed & also sent a personalized photo signed with thanks. I have a number of his novels and am a big fan. Very happy to recieve such a kind gesture from this writer. Check out his 'Dirk Pitt' books if you are into fiction/action with clever story lines.

5/09/2009 - I just found this older success tonight. I had forgotten all about it. Around February 2007, I sent a letter to Mr. Cussler. I explained to him that I would be teaching his novel "Sahara" in my English classes. I asked him if he would be willing to sign a few books for the kids, and if he knew of any lesson plans or discussion questions over the novel. In May 2007, I received an awesome hand-written reply from Mr. Cussler. He is a great guy that loves to communicate with his fans. On a side note, I was able to meet Mr. Cussler earlier this year in St. Louis and get 3 books signed and my picture made with him.

11/04/2006 - Sent a letter and SAE+IRC to Clive about a month ago and today I received three signed bookplates to paste into my favourite books.
He used his own stamps which feature his signature and a picture of him.
