8/02/2008 - sent: 7/15/08 received: 8/2/08 wait time: 19 days I sent a letter, photo, and SASE to this address: Paul Newman 1120 5th Avenue Suite C New York, NY 10128-0144 I have never seen any of the films that he was known for like the following: [i:Exodus, The Hustler, Hud, Cool Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,[/i: and [i:The Sting[/i:. But I did like the fact that he was a voice actor when he played the role of Doc Hudson in the Disney/Pixar film [i:Cars[/i:. There is also a reference between him and Doc Hudson. I heard that Paul in real life was once an auto racer until he retired in September 2007. Doc Hudson is also a retired racer. I told Paul in my letter that he and I have one thing in common. We are both admirers of Jim Carrey. I also told him that I heard that he is recently in a battle against lung cancer and I hope and pray that he will be alright. I got the picture signed by him in person and he addressed it to me. No scanner. Continue >>

6/02/2008 - Wrote Paul Newman May 5th and got it back today. Sent SAE, IRC and two pics. Both came back signed but I'm pretty sure they are secretarials.
