If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading! If you live in USA send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo. You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes. Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response. If you do not live in USA, add several* International Reply Coupons. The International Reply Coupons (IRC) will be used by the receiver to purchase american stamps. You can only get them at your post office. Place the IRCs into the envelope, not on it. 3/14/2008 - I sent a LOR, a trading card and a SASE to the Power Play Address in the Database on March 3rd of this year. Today (3.14) I got my card back unsigned in my SASE, a flyer for his webpage mrhockey.com and the following typed note:
"Gordie would like to thank you for your interest in regards to having him autograph the item you have sent. In his efforts to raise funds for the Howe Foundation, Gordie will gladly sign any small item you have for a $75 USD each made payable to the Howe Foundation. The Howe Foundation is a tax exempt charity which was set up by Colleen Howe. Your donation is tax deductible and greatly appreciated. Please send your request to:

I personally think that paying $75 to get a hockey card signed is a bit much (a puck or picture MAYBE). If I am gonna pay that, I am better off going to a signing session and seeing it done in front of me. Oh well, at least my card came back. Continue >> |
