If you live in USA send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo. You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes. Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response. If you do not live in USA, add several* International Reply Coupons. The International Reply Coupons (IRC) will be used by the receiver to purchase american stamps. You can only get them at your post office. Place the IRCs into the envelope, not on it. My wife, daughter, & I sent an email to Paula Deen at the restaurant webpage & received back one 5 x 7 glossy photo signed by Paula Deen with her two sons (unfortunately, her two sons did not sign it)
Its possibly an autopen but not preprinted as I can see where the silver marker was raised up at the end of each section of the autograph (letters P, a, 2x in H, period, D, n, & 4x in smiley) & also where the lines are all the same thickness & have the jitters going through em. It isn't like any of the other successes I have seen on this page (photo wise - I may have missed one though)!
Great to have one of our favorite FoodTV personalities!!!
