If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading! If you live in USA send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo. You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes. Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response. If you do not live in USA, add several* International Reply Coupons. The International Reply Coupons (IRC) will be used by the receiver to purchase american stamps. You can only get them at your post office. Place the IRCs into the envelope, not on it. We are very happy `cause finally we got Alan´s autograph.
We are two great fans of him, `cause he´s a great actor and he looks like to our grandpa |
4/29/2009 - Today I received a great success from America, from Alan Arkin, one of my favourite actors of all time! He was so funny in 'Little Miss Sunshine.'
Sent: A Letter, Photo and SASE on 25th March
Received: My Photo Signed in my SASE today, the 29th April
My stamps weren't cancelled, so I can re-use them again. |

Sent a letter and an SASE, and received a note back saying he didn't have any pictures but he wanted to say hello. He seems very nice. Maybe I'll print a picture to send him in a while. He was in movies in the 70s and 80s as well as now, such as the old version of The In-Laws (starring him and Peter Falk), Edward Scissorhands, and Little Miss Sunshine. He's not that popular, but I think he's very funny.
