I have never seen any of the films he directed before. But I did see the Broadway show of [i:The Producers[/i:. I also knew that Dom DeLuise was a regular in Brooks' films. Dom was the first person to give me an autograph. I also did see him and Dom in [i:The Muppet Movie[/i:. In case you don't know, Mr. Brooks was the voice of Bigweld in [i:Robots[/i:. I also did see him interview with Larry King. Also, Jim Carrey was influenced by Mr. Brooks along with Jerry Lewis, Dick Van Dyke, and Bill Cosby.
