12/21/2009 - Yes! Alright, I was in Italy the week of Halloween, and I figured while I was there, I might as well bring a few dvd covers for classic Italian actresses to sign. Anita Ekberg was at the top of my list, although I didn't have La Dolce Vita, I only had BLOOD ALLEY. But that's good enough! I went to an Italian post office, which looked a bit like a fancy hotel lobby, and using gestures and the few Italian words I'd learned, was able to convey the idea of a SASE, but with an American return address, to the government employee behind the counter, who didn't speak a word of English. I wasn't sure it would work, but:

9/07/2009 - Took a chance, successes with her are rather spotty. Used the address in the database. Sent two pictures collages. She signed both. Sent on April 9, 2009 and received back in late August. I included an IRC to pay for return postage. Funny thing, she must have just dropped the reply envelope in the mail without attaching [i:any[/i: postage.
