If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading! If you live in USA send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo. You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes. Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response. If you do not live in USA, add several* International Reply Coupons. The International Reply Coupons (IRC) will be used by the receiver to purchase american stamps. You can only get them at your post office. Place the IRCs into the envelope, not on it. 11/23/2009 - Hello! I sent a LOR and a SASE too Barbara Billingsley:) She is the sweetest lady ever. She sent me a 8x10 personalized autographed photo on very thin paper! An amazing sucess. I love Leave It to Beaver:) I sent out the LOR and SASE at the end of October and I got it today! I used the addy on database. I feel so bad because underneath my stamps was postage paid 0.17 cents? I told the lady at the post office to give me an extra 0.17 cents just in case and I thought there was enouph postage but it seems like there was not....... It makes me really sad I hope all the other letters I sent out will be okay....... Continue >> |
I guess I was right, Mrs. Cleaver was taking care of all her fan mail at once, because like a few others here, I finally received my autograph!
On October 15th, I sent Barbara Billingsley a LOR, a SASE and the dvd sleeve for LEAVE IT TO BEAVER Season one, disc 3! Today, I got back, beautifully signed in red ink! I used the address in the data base, and I'm very happy! Thank you fanmail, and thank you, Ms. Billingsley!
