If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading! If you live in USA send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo. You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes. Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response. If you do not live in USA, add several* International Reply Coupons. The International Reply Coupons (IRC) will be used by the receiver to purchase american stamps. You can only get them at your post office. Place the IRCs into the envelope, not on it. 12/27/2006 - I sent a letter to Willie Nelson on 11/13/06 and received a photo of him on 12/22/06. It's a nice 8 X 10 b & w photo but it was not autographed. I received a letter with the photo that said due to the number of requests that he receives on a daily basis he is unable to autograph them.

I checked Willie's web site contact information and it turns out this address' zip code is one number off though I c/p from his site's contact info when I wrote the original letter. Since the PO didn't cancel my stamp or stamp up my outer envelope outside of the amazingly easy to peel off RTS sticker, I plan to rewrite the address w/ the correct zip code and re-mail as is.
Best explanation I can think of is that they were reassigned a new zip code and thus another local PO so all the other PO would see is a closed box on their record.
