Billy is one of my favorite artists along with Elvis Presley, Elton John, and Stevie Wonder. I heard he also performs songs with Elton John. I also heard that he was known for writing songs about New York City. My favorite hits of his are "Piano Man" and "Uptown Girl". I especially dig the song, “Why Should I Worry?” from the Disney film [i:Oliver & Company[/i: and the fact that he was a voice actor in the film when he played the role of Dodger. In case you don't know, [i:Oliver & Company[/i: is his only film so far to be acting in. In my letter, I told Billy that [i:Oliver & Company[/i: is one of my favorite Disney films along with the following: [i:Dumbo, Bambi, A Bug’s Life, 101 Dalmatians, Aladdin, The Emperor’s New Groove, Mary Poppins, The Aristocats, Robin Hood, Lady and the Tramp, Who Framed Roger Rabbit,[/i: and [i:Cars[/i:. I even have stuffed animals of Oliver and Dodger. I even did see the Broadway show of Movin’ Out at the Von Braun Center. For some reason, Billy never signed the photo of himself but he did send his own signed picture but he didn't address it to me. But what made me really happy is that he did sign the second photo which is of Oliver and Dogder from [i:Oliver & Company[/i: so HALLEJULAH! |
