How to send your fan mail and autograph requests to Leslie Caron?:

If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading! If you live in UK send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo. You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes. Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response. If you do not live in UK, add several* International Reply Coupons. The International Reply Coupons (IRC) will be used by the receiver to purchase english stamps. You can only get them at your post office. Place the IRCs into the envelope, not on it. For more information on reply coupons click here. *For information on postage prices to receive a letter from UK click here

8/24/2009 - Appeared in 45 films between 1951 and 2003. She was one of the most famous Hollywood musical stars in the 1950s. Caron is best known for the musical films "Gigi, "Lili, An American in Paris", and "Daddy Long Legs", and for the non-musical films "The L-Shaped Room", "Father Goose, and Fanny". She received two Academy Award nominations for Best Actress. Caron started her career as a ballet dancer. But eventually Gene Kelly discovered her, and cast her to appear opposite him in the classic musical "An American in Paris" (1951), a role in which a pregnant Cyd Charisse was originally cast. This led to a long-term MGM contract and a sequence of films, which included the musical "The Glass Slipper" (1955) and the drama "Gaby" (1956). Most recently, Caron's guest appearance on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit earned her a 2007 Primetime Emmy Award. On April 27, 2009, Caron traveled to New York as an honored guest at a tribute to Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe at the Paley Center for Media. In February 2010 she will play the role of Madame Armfeldt in "A Little Night Music" at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. mailed photos 8-22-08 received signed 8-24-09 (yes, a full year!) used: Leslie Caron No longer valid http://img299.imageshack.us/img299/8219/picture512.jpg Continue >>
