If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading! If you live in UK send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo. You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes. Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response. If you do not live in UK, add several* International Reply Coupons. The International Reply Coupons (IRC) will be used by the receiver to purchase english stamps. You can only get them at your post office. Place the IRCs into the envelope, not on it. 4/20/2005 - Sent letter & SSAE on: 22nd March 2005
Autograph arrived: 20th April 2005
I recieved an "Order of Service" for the Queen's Golden Jubilee visit to Leicester. Jennie signed it on page one. (Jennie Bond was the BBC's Royal Correspondent for fourteen years.)
The cover of the booklet was pretty grubby, but it had obviously been used by Jennie at the event!
I used the address in the database:
c/o Knight Ayton Management
114 St. Martin s Lane
London WC2N 4BE
(However, the postmark on the return envelope was for Plymouth, Devon.)
I am currently collecting autographs for a charity auction, and I always send SSAE's as I have found this to be by far the most reliable (and polite!) policy. Where the celeb used my envelope I have tried to include a copy of any received letterhead or comp slip.
Cheers!
Ian
