11/08/2009 - A month ago, I asked on the Auto Collector forums if anyone had tried Joanne Woodward lately. I'd read that she refused autograph requests as of 2006, and it seemed as though no one was reporting differently since.
Well, I thought with her recent terrible loss, she might actually appreciate hearing from a fan. So I wrote her a very kind, very diplomatic letter of request, and sent her my THREE FACES OF EVE dvd cover.
And now, blam: Here it is. Joanne Woodward may be willing to sign TTM again!

I sent Ms. Woodward a letter request, SASE and birthday card on 2/18/2009...not reading until after I sent my request that she stopped signing a few years back.
I saw a success from her on here a couple weeks back and thought about retrying her. But today in the mail I found this signed and personalized 8x10 from her, from my first request almost 10 months ago! Address used was:
