How to send your fan mail and autograph requests to Hirokazu Yasuhara?:
|
If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading!
If you live in USA send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo.
You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes.
Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response.
If you do not live in USA, you can purchase your american stamps here

Hirokazu Yasuhara Sonic the Hedgehog Designer - February 27th, 2015 I received a quick reply from Mr. Yashuhara after only a few weeks. I sent him a few blank index cards, a Sonic manual, and a photo from Uncharted which he also worked on.

Hirokazu Yasuhara (Showing why we are in this hobby.) - September 13th, 2013 Sent a letter, previously signed photos, a SAE, and return postage to Hirokazu Yasuhara at Nintendo Software Technology in Redmond, WA. He is the original level designer for Sonic the Hedgehog for the Genesis and considered one of the three original creators of the character. He was my last autograph I needed for the original creators and have finally succeeded!
The address I used:
Hirokazu Yasuhara
c/o Nintendo Software Technology
5001 150th NE Avenue
Redmond, WA 98052
USA
He did misspell my name on the first one. The OCD in me kicks in and wants to correct it, but I dont want to mess with the original writing. Thoughts?
Tons of cash for postage later, (Japan is expensive) here they are:

He also drew Sonic on the back of the return envelope:
