Colleen Townsend Actress - December 14th, 2017
Colleen Townsend (born December 21, 1928) is an American actress, author and humanitarian.Townsend began a film career in 1944, appearing in minor roles in several films. By 1946, she was appearing on the cover of magazines, and in 1947 was signed to a contract by 20th Century Fox.
She played a featured role in the film The Walls of Jericho (1948), and was billed third behind Dan Dailey and Celeste Holm in Chicken Every Sunday (1949). Her biggest success was in the 1950 film When Willie Comes Marching Home, in which she was paired with Dan Dailey. Again... Pioneers (1950) provided her with her first lead role.

Colleen Townsend, 1940s/50s actress, Success! - October 11th, 2017
I wrote to actress Colleen Townsend Evans on October 1, 2017, and got, a VERY quick response, from her today, October 11, 2017! She is so sweet and she even addressed the envelope with her own address label and said how much it meant to her that she was still remembered so fondly by a fan of hers and that it make her "heart rejoice" as she put it thinking that I enjoyed some of her movies so much despite the fact she made them such a long time ago.
The address (the label has it printed out in ALL CAPS and Bold Print, thus I'm going to type it in big so other seekers can enjoy the new address on the site more clearly too!):
