10/24/2009 - Three weeks ago I sent a letter to June Havoc and suggested that she write an autobiography, as well as suggesting that she sign my beautiful GENTLEMAN'S AGREEMENT dvd which Celeste Holm signed last month. It was a risk, especially since Ms. Havoc must have been annoyed by my book suggestion considering that she's written about 11 of them about herself and her sister, the marvelous Gypsy Rose Lee. Don't worry, I bought a copy of MORE HAVOC as soon as I learned of it's existence. She wrote it around the time she starred in the Village People's movie. Anyhow, she ignored my idiocy and signed my DVD in blue, personalizing it and everything! So now my GENTLEMAN'S AGREEMENT dvd totally rocks, and you should all be jealous. I used the address in the database!

June Havoc is best known for her film roles, as well as plenty starring roles on Broadway (including the original run of Pal Joey in the '40s!), and national acclaim for vaudeville. Perhaps she is better known thanks to the musical GYPSY. Based off her sister (Gypsy Rose Lee / Louise Havoc) and her mother - the ultimate stage mom, while June wasn't a big fan of the show or how she was portrayed (often snarky, mean, and unnoticing to her sister), it was recently revived in 2008 starring Patti LuPone as her mother Rose, and Leigh Ann Larkin as June. 11/20/2008 - I sent a letter, photo, and SASE to Ms. Havoc just 8 days ago on November 12; asking if she could autograph my picture, and wishing her a good Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday 2008 Today, I received my picture back signed and personalized For those who don't know who she is, she is a very talented actress (born 1913), and the sister of the legendary actress Gypsy Lee Rose.
