How to send your fan mail and autograph requests to the 'Uh Huh Her'?:

If you want to request an autograph, follow the guidelines bellow. If you just want to mail a letter with the address above, and do not want anything back, then you can stop reading! If you live in USA send a properly stamped and self addressed envelope (minimum size 8.5" x 4") with your request letter and a photo. You can include a piece of cardboard to keep the photo from bending in shipping and also add "Do Not Bend" on the envelopes. Send your letter and wait. On average, there is going to be a 3+ month wait for a response. If you do not live in USA, add several* International Reply Coupons. The International Reply Coupons (IRC) will be used by the receiver to purchase american stamps. You can only get them at your post office. Place the IRCs into the envelope, not on it. 1/22/2008 - Sent: Letter and SAE on December 31st Rec: Signed Album on January 22nd Time: 22 days AMAZING SUCCESS! So for those of you who don't know, our beloved Alice from The L Word (Leisha Hailey) is in a band called Uh Huh Her with Camila Grey. I have tried writing Leisha honestly about 6 or 7 times with no response, so I finally decided I'd just write to her band. I found their myspace by going to the official L Word site, and I messaged them and asked for an address to write them at. They gave me one and I wrote to them, including an SAE and a couple of index cards because Leisha refuses to sign L Word stuff unless you are at an L Word convention, she hates being constantly tied to the show, and she's a very talented musician so I don't blame her. But anyway I briefly mentioned in my letter that I had absolutely no photos of Camila and the only photos of Leisha I had were from my L Word DVD seasons and I knew she wouldn't want to sign those. Well today was a very very pleasant surprise. They used my SAE and paid for postage, and they sent me a signed copy of "I See Red", their new album! Oh my goodness! Seriously I am so happy, I've been wanting both the album (which isn't in stores, so it's strange I got it because I can't find it anywhere and you have to buy their songs individually off of their myspace) and I have Leisha Hailey's autograph!!! AMAZING!
