3/01/2007 - Well this one gets the ball rollin' again! Jerry Reed, who all of you probably know played the smartelic truck drivin' sidekick to the Bandit in the Smokey and the Bandit films, signed and returned the photo I sent to him. I thought about sending him something Bandit related but when I got to thinking about it, I really loved him as the "love to hate him" Coach Red Beaulieu in the movie Waterboy with Adam Sandler... hence the reason I sent him the photo that I did. He signed it in red sharpie "Thanks Jim" with his signature below (kind of hard to see in the photo). In my letter to him, I made sure to mention and wish him a very happy 70th Birthday that he will be celebrating on March 20th for anyone who may feel inclined to write to him... maybe a birthday card to go with your request (just a hint). Anyways, I am very satisfied with getting this multi talented and successful legend!
